Le Ponant, a legendary sailboat

PONANT’s iconic three-masted sailboat is undergoing a makeover to offer guests an exclusive travel experience. The French studio Jean-Philippe Nuel oversaw the ship’s renovation, designing a sleek and refined atmosphere combining sophisticated fluid lines and eco-responsibility.

From June 2022, this legendary sailing ship will set sail again, offering tailor-made itineraries off the beaten track in Greece and Croatia. Two destinations chosen to fit the main dimensions of the new concept embodied by Le Ponant, namely slow and purposeful travel, which consists of focusing the trip on experiences that are meaningful for oneself and for the visited areas. On the programme, exclusive ports of call, sublime and wild landscapes, and a series of immersive activities including glass-bottomed kayaking, snorkelling, stand up paddleboarding, cycling and hiking, all in tune with nature.
